 Kurt Podany  is head of all kickboxing programs at Elite, and has the following experience:
26 years experience teaching, coaching, competing,  and refereeing matches
2nd Degree Black belt in American Karate
3rd Degree Black Belt in Mu Gen Do Kickboxing
1991 KICK Regional Heavyweight Champion
1991 and 1992 Nebraska State Light-Heavy Kickboxing Champion
1993 Bare Knuckle-Full Contact Shidokan Veteran
1996 Heavyweight Gold-Medalist in Thailand’s Prince’s Cump    
Represented the United States on teams in  Manchester, England; Dublin, Ireland; Winnipeg, Canada; and Altamay, Kazykstan
1998 International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) US Pro Cruiserweight Champion
Retired in 2000, with 19 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw
Received KMTV's "3 Cheers Award" for Outstanding Service
to Youth



                       
Kurt trains MMA fighters at Elite, and also teaches the  the JUNIOR SPARTAN youth program

Matt Andersen
.  Kurt currently teaches the KICKBOXING classes as well.
