Ryan Jensen started his martial arts career in 1992, at the age of fifteen. He started training at a local Omaha martial arts center called Innovative Martial Arts Strategies, which was later renamed Taijutusu Academy. One of his instructors was Omaha police officer, Steve Jenum, who later won UFC III. Since that time, Ryan has pursued his dream of competing in UFC himself. He has travelled and trained with many of the best MMA competitors and teams around the United States. He was part of Team Quest, he honed his skills in Portland, Oregon, also trainning with Greg Jackson's team in New Mexico, and Clay Guida and the guys from MTC in Chicago, and many others. He is constantly searching for knowledge from the best in the industry, and bringing these training methods back to Elite Performance in Omaha. This gives the Elite members the most up to date information on mixed martial arts, along with conditioning drills, and a solid connection to the sport. Ryan is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and a coach at Elite Performance of Omaha.
